Yeah, so life’s been a bit crazy of late, what with thinking about my future employment, trying to find a new house mate (Madmartigan, move the fuck back to this island, dickface), getting in my daily exercise and dealing with the fact that six to ten inches of rain have fallen here nearly every day for the last two weeks.

Still, I get my lifting in, do my cardio, try and make the rent for next month while desperately seeking a warm body to fill this empty space in my house. Oh, yeah, and I go to work, too.

And, I haven’t smoked a cigarette since last Monday and I still haven’t killed anyone, even though I did have a 3 hour NA service meeting on Sunday morning. I’ve mentioned this meeting before here.

But, I’m happy to say, I had my last appointment with the liver specialist today and, at one year post-interferon treatment, the Hepatitis C virus is still completely undetectable in my system.

Hence, I’m fuck’n cured, bitches! And on December 12,2007, I made four years clean and sober.

And, you know what, that whole not dying thing is kinda cool. So I’m not really going to sweat the small stuff.

I don’t know what this life has in store for me, but I’m pretty sure that I’ll come out clean on the other side.

Jobs and housemates are ephemeral things, my man, but you have to live with you until you aren’t living any more (at least as far as current evidence indicates).

Good going :)

dag, that stuff must be good. nothing can bring out “the urge to smack” in a person better than a recovery service meeting, or home group meeting. nonetheless, i love us peoples.

i’m glad you are on the alive side of the human race too, you make me laugh.

now shut up.

Yow – is this your way of saying that your wife still wants to sleep with me, even after all this time.

Alright, I relent, buy me a plane ticket, mutherfucker.

well, I guess when you keep trying to park a semi in a closet, the closet may get a bit sore after a while. I’m sure she’d appreciate something by “Hasbro” or “Mattel.”

take care, Big-wheel.

Well, we could do what me and Gordon did right after I got out of jail.

He and I went out and got trashed, went back to the Doc’s house and about 3 in the morning, he calls this super skeezola that he knows. Within 15 minutes, she’s at the house.

With 20 minutes, the three of us are naked in the hot tub on Doc’s back deck.

We fucked that bitch six ways from Sunday. Before we knew it, it was 5:30 – 6:00. And it was getting light out, all over.

The best part was when I looked up, right before I blew a load on her face, and Shon (I think – in) her ass, I saw the 85 year old woman who lived next to the Doc peering through the Venetian blinds out at us.

I waved and spewed all over the chick’s face.

The only thing missing that would’ve really made it complete was if someone had lit off a half stick and Moses, that crazy fuck from the Ledges, had leaped up and screamed “Love Ya!”

The old lady watched for another minute as the chick gargled my load, me leering at her the whole time – the old lady, not the skeezer – then Shon gave the money shot while I smacked her ass and then, after a second wave to the old lady, she finally closed the blinds.

Ah, good times.
